Grade 1 to 5

Our Primary School Program is designed to develop within students an equal measure of content knowledge, skill application and attitude building. The curriculum encourages students to engage in authentic inquiry, exploration, and creative problem-solving skills.

It challenges them to inquire, explore, experiment, deliberate on divergent views, and integrate knowledge gained in other subject areas to real-life situations. It develops children’s competence in various skills – reading, writing, listening, speaking, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, observation, measurement and the use of information and communication technology.

Besides a strong emphasis on these fundamental skills, there is also a drive towards originality, creativity, and independence of thought.

An extensive array of non-academic subjects also supports the curriculum with opportunities for all children to become involved. Physical Education, Fine Arts, Western and Indian Music, Dance, Yoga, Speech and Drama promote well-rounded development and provide a rich learning experience.

The wide range of curricular and co-curricular opportunities offered, helps instill in children confidence and discipline, as it reflects in their ability to express themselves, in addition to developing pragmatic skills.
